1. â€Å"Was the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki the only way to put an end to World War 2?† 2. â€Å"Were the bombings worth all the innocent (civilian) lives lost?† The following topic was chosen because it was very moving and interesting, as well as wanting to know about how the war (WWII) came to an end, some internet research was done in order to get to the bottom of how WWII ended thus the topic was decided. Then devastation set in followed by shock, meaning that it couldn’t be understood as to why the USA would go through such extremes’ in order to put an end to WWII and how the USA could be so distasteful and have such a disregard for human life. The questions above then crossed many minds, thus the need to get to the bottom of it. The following could be said to make the situation justifiable, there are many that would agree the USA’s actions were justifiable in dropping the â€Å"atom bomb† in the case where the relentlessness of the Japanese was too much for the USA, the USA were running out of supplies being that they were running out of ammunition, medical supplies for first aid, funds and most importantly for a war troops. Either way it was not right to just drop the â€Å"atom bomb† on a country in order to get them to get them (Japanese) to withdraw from the war (WWII). The same could be said for many wars such as the Vietnam War, chemical warfare such as â€Å"Agent orange and Napalm† were used by the USA in order to get the North Vietnamese to pull out of the war.
